Housing Authority undertaking numerous Development Projects

Over 1550 lots in Suva and Rakiraki will be available for purchase by the Housing Authority in the next 12 to 18 months.

Chair, Umarji Musa says the Authority is undertaking a number of development projects to provide affordable, decent and quality housing to all Fijians.

Musa says the major subdivisions will be carried out between Nasinu and Nausori.

“Nepani with 175 lots, Davulevu with 730 lots, Tavakubu with 530 lots and Koronisalusalu in Tavua with 119 lots. Apart from this Matavoli Project which has 400 lots has been completed and the Authority is in the process of allocating these lots to individual customers. The Strata Title project goes, the Authority is seriously looking at a hundred and seventy six units at its Wainibuku Sub-Division and currently it is in its feasibility stage.”

Musa says the 620 proposed lots have also been planned for Vaikoba in Nasinu but this is subjected to road developments.
