Australia’s fastest growing real estate network, Raine & Horne has added another base to its global expansion with the official launch of a third local office in the Fijian capital, Suva City. .

The event was officiated by Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes and also marked the 135th anniversary of the Raine & Horne Group, which announced its expansion into the Pacific region in 2017.

He noted Raine & Horne’s role as an industry leader in Australia’s property market, with services across residential, commercial and rural property markets, and that Pacific economies such as Australia and Fiji were in exciting times.

“It is a pleasure getting to know the Australian business community in Fiji and seeing first hand how they are supporting Fiji’s development and strengthening commercial ties between our two countries,” he said.

“We can see in the Suva – Nausori corridor the immense pressure on the housing market, and how challenging it is for low-income earners to buy their first home. As it is in Australia.

“I have no doubt that the presence of reputable, industry leaders such as Raine and Horne greatly assists Fiji to have an efficient, transparent and well-regulated property market”

Raine & Horne Suva Branch Manager, Linda Narayan leads a new team of upcoming and coming agents and sales staff.

“Within a short time of being in operation, our Suva office has listed a range of properties for sale  and rent, including high end apartments and residences,” she said.

“What differentiates Raine & Horne from other organisations is that our Principals and agents work ‘on the ground’ in their local communities and regional markets ,not just CBD locations.  Our Principals, are the industry leaders who have decided to work on and in their own businesses and are not just a corporate number.
We understand the dynamics of local and regional markets intimately, operating at street level to answer to our clients’ individual needs.
“The key to  our success in the region is our drive to uphold the core values of the Raine & Horne name. Integrity, market knowledge, experience, combined with our large network internationally and our robust contacts within the business community locally and globally,” Narayan added.

In a bid to cater to huge service demand from clients and their area of operation, Raine & Horne Suva aims to go into property management by the end of the year. There are also plans to soon open a corporate lounge for their clients- the first of its kind locally and part of a bid to be an industry trendsetter.

The seasoned realtor said Suva has experienced a rapid growth over recent years with values skyrocketing and rising investor confidence.

“Prior to this, there has never been such a sturdy price growth. The opening  of the Suva Office has been part and parcel of Raine & Horne’s plans to expand regionally in the Pacific. The Suva office provides a regional Pacific hub for property seekers, with a local team part of the Raine & Horne global network.”

She said they had listed a range of properties for sale and rent - including high end apartments and residences- within a short time of being in operation, and that negotiations were underway to exclusively secure some prime real estate in the coming weeks.

The Raine & Horne office in Suva is located at Suite 5, Parade Arcade along Victoria Parade.
