KHELVIN Realtors has hosted a series of training workshops as it delves into the consistent up skilling of its growing staff.

The Lautoka-headquartered family business gathered an 18-member team at the Seascape Hotel in Wailoaloa last week for three days of training by operations manager, Semi Narendra, before a similar round was held in Suva for its Central Division staff.

Agents and salespersons received practical and theoretical guidance on a range of realty activities covering open homes, email data base marketing, telemarketing and personal development amongst other topics to bring them in line with modern marketplace changes and trends.

Owned by former Parliamentarian, Vyas Deo Sharma, Khelvin is undertaking a major national expansion, with a new office in Labasa for the Vanua Levu market, and the industrial, wealthy town of Ba and in Namaka, Nadi, the centre of major tourism and residential developments ahead of its declaration as Fiji’s third city next year. Demand will also see a new office opening in Nakasi, Suva.

This chain expansion will see Khelvin operating in Fiji’s main commercial centres, and comes on the brink of major town boundary expansions for Nadi and Lautoka, which is expected to bolster further residential projects amid a relative housing shortage.
